The conference is the first attempt to be hosted by a branch and hosted by a local government. Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang, Hubei Province, hosted the forum with great enthusiasm and gave strong support to the convening of the conference. On the morning of April 11th, the 2023 Coated Abrasive Industry Conference and the China Coated Abrasive International Forum officially opened. Yang Weihua, Vice Mayor of Yichang Municipal People's Government, Li Lunhua, Secretary of the CPC Wufeng Tujia people Autonomous County Party Committee, Deng Hongjing, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Head of the County, Wen Mu, Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, as well as members of the county party committee and the county government at home, relevant leaders of the county people's congress, and heads of relevant county departments attended the opening ceremony of the conference.

This conference focused on the forum theme of "Intelligent Grinding Technology for Coated Abrasives and Green, Environmentally Friendly, and Efficient Materials", and conducted extensive exchanges and mutual learning on the common hot and difficult issues faced by the industry, gathering consensus, promoting development, and opening up new prospects and achieving new breakthroughs in promoting the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry. More than 200 enterprises attended this conference, with 3 sessions and 14 reports covering various issues. They also visited the Wufeng Ethnic Industrial Park and Hubei Zhongtai Grinding Tool Co., Ltd. to gain a deeper understanding of local ethnic culture and learn from the management experience of excellent grinding tool enterprises.
On April 13th, with warm applause, the 2023 China Coated Abrasive Tools International Forum successfully concluded.
